Royal Fiji Kava does not trade in kava under 3 years old as we firmly believe any kava under the age of 3 years should be left in the ground. This benefits both the farmer and the end user. 

Our Kava

Pure Waka (Lateral Root): When we say pure Waka this is exactly what we mean. We do not include any lewena tips during processing this kava root.

A-Grade: When received from the farmer every piece of Waka root as a small bit of Lewena (basal root) attached. We do not seperate this when processing our A-Grade powder and goes into the same mix for a well balanced kava drink. 

Lewena (Basal Root): Although not the strongest bart of the kava root system this is definitely the most enjoyable in terms of taste and experience. 

AGE

Either of the above kava types can be supplied in various ages groups. 

Grown for 3-4 years - Great for social occasions and gatherings.
Grown for 5-7 years - Great for medicinal use for strong hard hitting effect.
